At the heart of the system is a bar-and-plate core measuring a massive 640mm x 250mm x 100mm, offering a 94% increase in charge air volume and 55% more frontal surface area over the factory intercooler. This results in drastically reduced intake temps and increased performance consistency—ideal for tuned or big-turbo RS3 setups.

IE’s intercooler uses custom-cast end tanks with integrated inlets/outlets designed to work with factory boost hoses, or you can upgrade to IE’s optional FMKT024 Boost Hose Kit for even greater flow.

Unlike many kits, IE includes a genuine Audi crash bar, which is professionally modified in-house to accommodate the larger core. Both the intercooler and crash bar are finished in a durable black crackle powder coat for long-lasting protection and a stealth OEM+ look.
